Answers to the questions clients ask most about Georgian small business tax and how TaxOne works.
What tax rate applies to me?
Individual Entrepreneurs with Small Business status pay 1% on annual turnover up to 500,000 GEL. Once turnover passes 500,000 GEL in a calendar year, the rate becomes 3% for the rest of that year and resets to 1% in January.
When is the monthly declaration due?
The declaration for a month is filed at RS.ge in the following month. Send your information through TaxOne before the 15th so your auditor has time to review it.
How do I pay the tax itself?
Pay through TBC or BOG mobile banking under 'Treasury / Budget payments'. Use treasury code 101001000 (Individual Entrepreneur income tax), enter your taxpayer ID, and pay the rounded amount due.
I don't have an rs.ge account yet. What do I do?
You need to register as an Individual Entrepreneur in person at the Public Service Hall (იუსტიციის სახლი). Once that is done, start the connection flow in your dashboard and we finish the setup with you.
I earn in USD or EUR. How is that converted?
Income is declared in GEL using the official National Bank of Georgia rate for the exact date you received the money. TaxOne pulls that rate automatically and rounds the declared amount up to the nearest GEL.
What documents should I upload?
Invoices, receipts, or bank statements that support the income you declared. PDF, PNG, and JPEG files up to 10MB each. On the Premium Statement plan you can upload your bank statement PDF instead of entering transactions manually.
Who actually files the declaration?
A qualified Georgian financial auditor reviews your submission and files it on RS.ge. You see the status move from waiting to under review, submitted, and completed.
What does it cost?
Basic Manual is $9.99/mo ($7.99/mo billed yearly). Premium Statement is $14.99/mo ($11.99/mo billed yearly) and adds direct TBC/BOG statement uploads. You can switch plans from your dashboard at any time.
How is my data handled?
Documents are stored in private storage with role-aware access, every status change is recorded in an audit trail, and only your auditor and you can read your submissions.
